Social connections are essential for family well-being. They provide emotional support, reduce isolation, and build a sense of belonging. CCCP encourages families to connect through community events, shared experiences, and trusted relationships.
How CCCP supports it
Cape Cod Children’s Place helps families build strong social connections by creating welcoming spaces where caregivers can meet, share experiences, and feel supported. Through family events, playgroups, workshops, and one‑on‑one consultations, we connect families to local programs, peer support, and community resources.
We encourage participation in community spaces and help caregivers build relationships that reduce isolation and strengthen family well‑being.
What is the Lower Cape Supporting Momma Group?
A weekly, welcoming space for new moms to connect, share experiences, ask questions, and feel supported. Facilitated by a local doula, this group offers gentle conversation, peer support, and a sense of community during the early months of parenting.

Helps families navigate challenges such as housing, food insecurity, financial stress, and mental health concerns.
Cape Cod Children’s Place connects families to trusted resources that offer relief, stability, and hope during difficult moments.
How CCCP supports it:
Cape Cod Children’s Place helps families access the practical supports they need to stay safe and stable. We offer referrals for housing, food, financial assistance, and mental health resources, and we connect families to trusted community programs during challenging moments.
When available, we also provide direct supports—such as gift cards, seasonal essentials, or basic family needs—to offer immediate relief. Through workshops, consultations, and guidance on navigating local systems, we help caregivers find reliable support when they need it most.

We provide parenting workshops, support groups, and consultations that help caregivers build confidence and manage stress. We also connect families to mental health resources, peer support, and crisis or resilience services when needed. Through compassionate guidance and community partnerships, we help caregivers feel more grounded, capable, and supported.

We offer parenting workshops on emotional development, provide tools for teaching empathy and self‑regulation, and share strategies that strengthen connection at home and in early learning settings. We also connect families to early education programs, mental health supports, and community resources that nurture children’s emotional well‑being.
